Sometimes during normal use suddenly its diode goes out and the mouse stops working but Device Manager says it's functioning properly. The only thing I can do at this point is replug it.
I've tried uninstalling the mouse drivers, removing USB hubs etc in the manager but to no avail. I've also tried unckecking "allow this computer to turn off this device". Nothing helped.
Once in a while the OS notifies me that there is an unknown device when this happens and manages to reconnect the mouse, but for the most part it fails to do so and balloon notifications keep on popping up one after another with the 'unknown device' message. I use windows 7 x64. The mouse vendor and product IDs are VID_0x1C4F&PID_0x003 (SiGma Micro).
Does anyone know what the problem might be here or know a solution? I'd be very grateful for any ideas.
