I recently upgraded from this:
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-12800cl9s-4gbxl-

to this:
http://www.gskill.com/en/product/f3-17000cl9d-8gbxm

The problem is that when I go to bios, it hangs before it even loads. But fortunately, I can still boot to windows.

mobo: Gigabyte F2a75m-d3h
procy: AMD A10-6800k

I already tried flashing the bios with @bios.
Can't load Q-flash, since it also hangs when i enter it at the bios.

This was my original thread when i was asking about the compatibility of my mobo to 2133 mhz rams:
http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2287657/motherbo...

I thought that even if my mobo can't run rams at 2133 mhz, I can just reduce the speed to 1866 mhz.

Thanks in advance!

How is the DRAM set up? manually? at what freq? Look for a setting for XMP or AMP and enable it then select 2133, if still problems may have to add a little voltage to the DRAM and/or MC (memory controller)

That's the problem, I can't access the bios since it freezes just before it loads, so I can't do anything.
According to CPU-Z, DRAM Freq is at 800 MHz. FSB : DRAM is at 1:8. (This is probably the default settings since I flashed my bios, dunno what is the default XMP/AMP settings.)

I was thinking of using another ram, so that I can go to the bios, set up everything I need in the bios, then switch again to my ram. Will that work?

Unfortunately, I have sold my old rams, so I'm leaving that as my last resort.

Just a question, can we rule out that my new rams are defective?

No, there are a number of possibilities, can you borrow DRAM from a friend/co-worker

It turns out that it was my generic USB Joystick which was causing the bios freeze, and not the ram. Already configured bios and the ram is now running at 2133 mhz.

I'm just a little concerned about the NB Freq, is that normal?

Thanks for the help, and good day!
