Hi guys. Some time ago I bought BenQ XL2410T and I noticed that games are really blurry with lower resolutions (yes, I know that it is supposed to look a little bit worse with lower resolution but it is way worse than it should be ). When I set native resolution on any game (1920x1080) everything looks perfect, games work fine in windowed mode too. I tried downloading new drivers, changing some stuff in nvidia control panel, changing monitor options but it didn't help. I also tried using my old monitor again and I noticed that the same problem occured but I just hadn't noticed it before because I am used to playing on low resolutions.

Recently, I changed my video card to ati radeon hd 7700 because the old one kept overheating but it didn't help too. I think that it might have something to do with windows (I'm using win7 64bit) but I'm not sure. Help would be appreciated.

If your not playing at your monitors native resolution this usually occurs. Anything lower has to be properly supported for it to not be blurry or stretched. Try setting 1280x720, or 1366x768. One of those "should" be clear for 720p on your monitor.

Games just look blurry below native resolution, there's nothing you can do about that, it is quite a noticeable drop in quality.

Why would you not run at native resolution?... Always run at native resolution. There isn't anything wrong.

I assume your new monitor is larger than your old one? Larger monitors with similar resolutions pretty much always look worse than smaller ones when running non-native.

just play in window mode at lower resolutions, then you keep the perfect pixel size.

Games are unplayable even with the resolutions that you had mentioned in your post. I also forgot to say that everything seemed fine when I was using win XP and my old monitor. When I got win 7 I immediately noticed the bluriness but I just switched the resolution up a little bit in games and forgot about it for some time.

Yeah my new monitor is. I'm fine with using native resolution on most games but I find it to be disadvantageous in FPS games.
