I have been getting the BSOD very frequently.This has happened quite a lot of times on the laptop ( Dell Studio 1558, Intel Core i 3, ATI Radeon 5470 graphics card, 4 GB Ram,500 GB HDD, 4 years old) while surfing the net or reading a pdf.I dont play any games on this laptop. Now today after the laptop went dead in the morning, it showed a weird problem. Every time the laptop is switched on, the HDD starts as can be made out from the noise, but nothing comes up on the screen. I tried switching it on many times but with no luck. Could graphics card be the problem? I have installed AMD Catalyst latest 14.4 drivers after the BSOD started appearing. But even that didn't help. Also the laptop becomes quite hot sometimes. What should i do to remedy this problem?
