I am stuck between two computers! They are both around the same price, but I need advice choosing between the two specs
1: i7-4710MQ processor, GTX 880M graphics, 16GB DDR3L
~or~
2:i7-4910MQ, R9 M290X, 32GB DDR3L

**EDIT**
Is there a huge difference between the two GPU's as far as gaming, or do the other features on #2 overpower the gpu differences?

More about : gpu

I would have to say the second one as it has a better CPU, a better or equivalent GPU and more RAM.

2nd one defiantly for pure performance laptop.

However, if you need a laptop that has good battery, then your probably gona want the first one since it most likely has optimus technology (I would make sure it has this also).

the difference wont be that big but the spec on the second build should make it perform a bit better than the first build .. it has a stronger processor and more ram for heavy prgrams

The second is better, but both of them are quite good, the cpu on the second is a bit stronger, gpus are somewhat on par, and both of them have more than enough ram for most uses, if they cost the same i'd get the second one only because of the cpu. What do you plan to do with this lap and what are the prices?

They are both around 2500. I need it for school, but I also want it for gaming and streaming videos. I can get the 1st one with a 120hz screen but it will cost more.
