I am about to order my new rig and i'm not sure if this heatsink will fit without interfearances.
System:
Currently Antec 1100, will upgrade to a Phanteks Enthoo Luxe as soon as it's available where i live
MSI Z97 Gaming 7
core i7 4790k
G.Skill RipJawsX 16gb ddr3 kit
Sapphire R9 290x Vapor-x

Yes it will work with your setup.

Just check the height of your memory modules.

1. Yes.... in fact one Phanteks user ..... (I won't mention his name because he's a cranky old fart ... you might recognize him by the skeleton head avatar) ... suggested to Brian @ Phanteks that they offer the two as a combo.

White Case w/ White CPU cooler and white LED fans = $10 savings in bundle.

BTW, I'd pair a MSI 970 with that MSO MoBo... faster, quieter, less power and $120 cheaper

I looked it up, the Ripjawsx are about 41mm tall, now i'm pretty sure the heatspreader or the front fan will be hanging over the memory slots. I know you can move the latter up or down, but not how much. Does anyone know about this?

Again, any help will be much appreciated.

You can mount it up higher to clear the Ripjaws X.

They aren't very tall like Vengeance.

The Mushkins are 40mm and they fit fine.
