How does this build look compatibility/performance wise?

I am a n00b when it comes to ordering custom PC parts and stuff and I am looking to order a custom gaming computer. These are the parts I have picked... http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/Qzjzpg
Compatibility wise, I know that the Mobo does not have enough chassis fan headers for all case fans but the fans I am ordering extra come with molex adapters that will make them run at 7V and connect to PSU. That is the only problem I am aware of at the moment... Also may be planning to SLI my GPU in the coming months. If anyone can point out any other problems it would be greatly appreciate. I am looking to order the PC parts in about a month hopefully. :) Thanks!

Solution
1. It has enough connectors for all the cards, molex, drives and more!
2. Its extremely high quality and 850W can handle SLI 980, 970 is easy.
Everything looks perfect to me :)

It is for gaming mostly at the moment but in the future I want to be a video game designer. I know what SSDs are faster for loading times and stuff but if I need one, I can always just order one and install it right?

Why do you need a 1000W PSU? Get real, at most a 750W Cooler Master is what you'd be aiming for. Even with 2 970's in SLI

You could trim this PC down cost wise A LOT with ALMOST no performance difference in gaming. Do you wish for something alternate?

I would take all the help I can get! There are a few things there I definitely want to keep though including the CPU, Mobo, RAM, GPU, CPU cooler, the Monitor and 8.1 OS. I also forgot to mention that I play on recording my gameplay and uploading as I have a Youtube channel. Thanks

Thank you for all your suggestions, I will definitely take some of them into consideration. The Corsair 750D comes with 3 case fans already and I was looking to get 5 more on the side due to the fact that I plan on doing some video editing and game designing with the computer. Sorry I am a noob. Also, what is IPS display you mentioned? I am looking to get a monitor with an HDMI connection as I plan on hooking my Xbox up to the monitor also (I have an HDMI signal switch). Thanks

8 fans will be too loud with no performance enhancement, like a jet taking off when you switch on the PC. 5 fans are enough to take off a little plain lol, consider Noctua AFs and CM silence series for quietness. 550D is a great case and fits the needs real well. The best places which really enhance performance are intake on front and exhaust on rear and top.

IPS is a better panel than normal PLS or TN, it gives better color vibrance and saturation, highly recommended for designing, as you'd want to get the best possible color on your characters, and not something uneal. Its fine to hook up Xbox in that monitor.

Alright! I did some part adjusting from my first build (link in original post) and came up with this! http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/LBztkL
I added a 128 GB SSD, went with the Asus Maximus VII Hero, cut back two fans, added a 6 port fan controller, used the RAM you suggested, went with the RM 850 PSU (I do plan on SLIing the 970s sometime) , using the Monitor you suggested and went with the Corsair 730T case (everything else is the same). It is now about the same price as my previous build ($3.00 more now). What do you think? Are all the parts going to be compatible? (I did a lot of research, I think they will be) and how future-proof do you think it will be?

It looks like an awesome build! I'm sad to tell however that RM 750W and higher models are poor quality, containing cheap capacitors which ripple a lot on high loads, not advisible. I'd instead get EVGA G2/B2 750W or higher models for the build, EXTREMELY high quality and will take the load with ease, besides being a lot cheaper!
Looks like a great build for future games, you're good to go for maxing out games :)

Ok thanks for the advice. I went with the EVGA 850W Modular PSU. Just wanted to make sure of a few things...
1. Does it have enough connectors for all the devices I have like the Fan Controller (takes to Molex connectors to power it) and Blu-Ray drive?
2. Will it be able to handle SLI 970s?
Thanks! If you see any more problems please let me know and I will adjust accordingly? You have been a huge help!
