2gb ram for windows 7 x64 ?

2 bad thing happened yesterday .
first my 4gb ram got damaged now i have 2gb remaining only !
other is i download metro last light redux but it was for 64bit version only ....so i think to install 64but windows 7 as i dont wanna waste my 9gb on that game but is 2gb will handle it ??i cant buy more till some time ! what should i do ?

That requires resources, 2GB won't cut it. You'd need 4GB.

For now it will be fine for web browsing and basic stuff, 2GB can handle that. However, if you want to game with only 2GB then forget it.

Also, there is no upgrade path from 32-bit Windows 7 to 64-bit Windows 7. You will have to reinstall the OS and all your programs again. Depending on how old the system is, it may be less of a hassle to just buy a new computer.
