Hi everyone, I've been reading some forum posts and different articles and I've been getting mixed information.

I would like to upgrade my wireless card on my lenovo y410. I currently have a Intel N 7260 single band.

I am looking to get AC compatibility, especially since I just bought a ASUS RT-AC66U.

My understanding is that there is ONE whitelisted AC card for the lenovo y410, which is the WLAN, WiFi AC+BT4.0, Ltn BCM4352+20702 aka the

Broadcom BCM4352 Azurewave AW-CE123H WIFI Bluetooth 4.0 Combo mini Card

(which I found here http://www.ebay.com/itm/231301760792?_trksid=p2060778.m...)

However, I have also seen people claiming to be using INTEL cards, such as the

Intel 7260.HMWWB.R WiFi Wireless-AC 7260 H/T 2x2 AC+ Bluetooth HMC Dual Band
(which I found here http://www.ebay.com/itm/331316418804?_trksid=p2060778.m...)

So my question is, I can buy the Broadcom card and just replace my current card with it with no issues, correct?

Or I can MOD my BIOS (do I even need to flash my bios?) to support the INTEL card?

Lastly, is there any real performance difference between these cards, which one should I go for or is there something I missed?

Thank you in advance!
