Please help me build $1100 gaming desktop - got some ideas already

Hey all so $1100 budget gaming PC desktop is my goal to build. Here is what I have so far please make some suggestions and improvements where you can. Please note that I want a nvidia graphic card and only will use intel as my cpu. Thanks.



cpu - i5-4690k 3.5ghz quad-core processor
mobo - asus z97
gfx - gtx 970
ssd - Crucial MX100 256GB SATA 6Gbps 150/550MB/S 2.5” 7MM (With 9.5MM Adapter) SSD
ram - G.SKILL Sniper 8GB (2 x 4GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 (PC3 12800) Desktop Memory Model F3-12800CL9D-8GBSR
cooler - cooler master hyper 212 evo

CPU + MB - Z97-A I assume? Good choices...
CPU Cooler - The old stand by... Consider upgrading to the Noctua air cooler below.
MEM - Good specs, but the heat spreaders aren't necessary and can interfere with some aftermarket CPU coolers.
SSD - Another good choice. Check the price difference between it and the Samsung 840 Evo for a final decision. You can't go wrong with either.
CASE - Fine and all, but look toward Fractal for a better design for not much more cost.
PSU - The EVGA is ok, but I prefer XFX or Seasonic. The EVGA with the $25 rebate is pretty solid at the moment though...
