I have gtx 660 and phenom x3 8450.
I want to upgrade my CPU becasuse it BN my gtx660 (60% usage only)
I can realy cheap buy phenom ll 920 (-45$) ... should this CPU be ok with 660?
Or is it worth spent 30$ extra (-75-80$) for P2 955/965 BE?

It would be good to buy a Phenom II Black Edition and overclock it but that requires a good CPU cooler. What motherboard do you have? It may not support 955 or 965 even. Also 920 is a 120W CPU and not all motherboards support such a processor.

a 955 should be pretty powerful. On my custom work PC its actually a PII X2 555 (same as 955 but only dual core) and have the other two cores unlocked though the bios and its very powerful. I don't notice much of a difference as far as video/3d rendering compaired to my FX-8320 OCed to 4.4 GHZ

The motherboard seems pretty capable and durable. With a good cooler like Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO some overclocking is more than possible.

As I said if you plan to overclock 955/965 are worth the extra money. Otherwise 920 is not so much slower than 955 or 965.
