I wanted to ask whether to buy Intel Core 2 Quad Q8400 ???
My current rig:
Pentium Dual Core E5400 2.7Ghz
Motherboard-Gigabyte G41-ES2L
GPU-Gtx 750 1Gb ddr5
4gb ddr2 ram 800mhz- 2 Sticks of 2 Gb each
PSU-Enter E-500A +12v rating of 24A

I know that LGA 775 type processors are outdated, but i am getting the Q8400 for a very cheap price.....so i just wanted to know if my PSU is powerful enough to support my Rig.??
And is my motherboard completely compatible with Q8400??

TDP of my current processor is 65W and of the Q8400 is 95w.
I dont have any problems while running my current system.
So please suggest me whether my PSU is powerful enough as i dont have money for new PSU.
Thankyou!

The Q8400 processor is completely compatible with your motherboard and the power supply is more than enough to power the new processor.

But my PSU is a cheap local psu.....and i have read that the Q8400 is quite power consuming and it takes upto 135W on load??
I just need a confirmation as i am about to buy it..
