I have just finished building my new desktop, and for some reason it doesn't want to show a picture on the screen. I have a ASUS GTX770 2CU and a Samsung screen along with a LC Power 550 watt PSU. I've tried switching the cables the PSU to the graphic card, but that only shows "Please power down and connect the PCIe power cables for this graphics card). I only have one 6+2 pin cable.

More about : shows screen

if you only have one 6+2 cable, then it's time to get a better PSU that is actually supposed to be able to support your GTX 770.

that PSU is no good.

I went to computer store and brought the card with me, and was told that the PSU was good enough. I will go there tomorrow and get another one.

Thanks for your time.

A lot of the time the worker at the computer store doesn't know what he's talking about, unfortunately.

Although I can't blame him because there's a lot of cheap overrated PSUs out there

Is there any brand that you can recommend? Also, is 550w sufficient you think?
