So under normal use, (web browsing, emailing, MS Office related stuff) it works fine, also photoshop, rosetta stone.. and some heavier apps.

However, when I play games (Bioshock Infinity, Tomb Raider) Any Games for longer than an hour i begin to see this distorted pixelaiton block appear.

I provided a video below, the video is of me multi tasking (watching a footbal game in one window, and surfing the web in another window)

you'll notice the pixelation blocks on the football stream.
I decided to go ahead and record it, because its the exact same malfunction? that happens when I play games, or do anything remotely graphic intensive (and flash videos aren't even graphics intensive!)

I7 860
8GB Ram
500 Watt Corsair modular
R9 270x
1TB HDD
DVD Writer

thats about it.
also there's a Wifi card in the PCI slot.

I have all of the latest drivers for everything.. what could be the issue?

VRam as in, the Memory on the GPU?

I believe the power supply is sufficient for the mid range rig.

Yes the VRAM is just the video memory that is on the graphics card. If you didn't feel like watching the video, basically what happens is when the data is being loaded onto the VRAM, the data value gets 'stuck' inside one of the chips and shows artifacts like that. If it happens in many games and on the desktop it's a sure fire sign that your cards memory is corrupted.

I know how you feel :(  My rig is down (well using my igpu but no gaming) because I'm sending my card back to XFX for the fourth time. (and I had to RMA my Corsair K70 because the LEDs were dying and keys became unresponsive) Usually if the company is decent you'll get it back within 2 weeks depending on when you shipped it and when it arrived. Worst company is Gigabyte when it comes to customer service. It takes them a month on average to get an RMA'd product back to the end user. (I've returned my fair share of boards to them) Hope it goes well for you.
