i can't find my bluetooth in device manager

hello :)
i can't find my bluetooth icon in the device manager
i tried 2 install a new driver but i failed
i tried searching for it through the whole windows but i couldnot find it....i found the windows of send or receive a file but it's not working...so please help me out

Here is the DELL instructions for finding your service tag.

If there are no unidentified devices in device manager and nothing in the network devices, then I would believe you don't have bluetooth built in.

It looks like, if you search "dell e6410 bluetooth module location" you can find pictures if you want to go at it with a screwdriver. There also seem to be lots of people selling the bluetooth module that you could install.

i don't know.. coz this laptop is still new but i guess it sorta has or something coz there is a bluetooth sign on the laptop itself but i don't know if it was installed before or what

one of the attempts o made was typing (fsuirt) & i found it...the window of send or receive a file but thats it...i can't find any bluetooth settings like 4 example my laptop's name or allow 2 connect to devices...etc & when i click send or receive a file..it fails

This does say that bluetooth was optional. It is quite possible that machine NEVER had bluetooth. I believe you can use the service tag number on the bottom to find out the configuration that laptop was originally built with. But if you bought it used or refurb, I don't know if the service tag thing will work.

If you don't have built in bluetooth this USB adapter would be your solution.
