Hello wireless wizards!
I have been having a problem with my desktop PC and connecting with the internet. The internet works with ethernet cable, but with the wireless it just doesn't work. All other wireless computers (phone, laptop, ipad) connect with no problem at all. The pc in question had a Netgear WNDA 3100v2 USB connector. I switched it out for a wireless card today an nothing. What happens is that it connects to the router but doesn't connect to the internet. If it does it is super weak and will be for 30 seconds before disconnecting. I have tried simple fixes: restart computer/router, uninstall/install patches, and things of that manner. I have also looked online and was told to go to the CMD and use the commands "netsh int ip reset reset.log" and "netsh winsock reset catalog" and restarting the computer. Still doesn't work. Please help me out here. I have no idea what is going on with this internet. Oh and I don't use the ethernet cable because I don't want a 100 foot cable running around my house.
