the laptop that i have is a clevo p370em with a 3630qm and 8gb of ram. the gpus are two 670ms which are basically two underclocked 560 tis. when i bought this i didnt know much about computers so instead of building a desktop i bought this. my cpu is good, display good, ram good but my gpu sucks. what i want to know is how can i hook up an external gpu to my laptop, i know theres a way because i read about it, but the hardware needed is like 200 dollars and im still not sure how i could set it up or if there are cheaper options or just how well it will work. so what id really like is some detailed instructions on how to do this and keep in mind im not looking to spend a lot, as a matter of fact id like to spend the least amount possible so i can get a nice graphics card.

Not worth the money. You're just taking a decent GPU and then just crippling it. It's a waste of money and time.
