Hello, just really curious because I'm thinking of buying new components. But I think most things in my computer in integrated. Also the same with my other parts. I'm mainly thinking of replacing GPU, CPU, and PSU.

Ram: 16gb ddr3
CPU: AMD A10-6700 APU 3.7 GHZ Overclocked to 4.4ghz 2-core
Power supply: 230w
Motherboard: I think MSI 2AE0 (Say's that on cpuid)
GPU: RADEON HD 8570

Well correct me if i am wrong why on earth you want to spend more on chassis than cpu itself. If you have 175 $ to spend on chassis spend it on gpu.Look here are some variations you can approach

If you want to use a dedicated gpu better use a scratch build and if you can bear the price of one more chassis and HDD you can get two system and you can even resale one(though pc on resale go on really low price) or give to someone if you have i dont know kids or something.

Build everything from scratch and put 8gb ram from your earlier build inside new one,Then you can give the old one to somebody, sell it or keep it for yourself...

you already have a discrete GPU.

However, if you tried to put anything recent into that system the PSU could not support it.

Also, if you replace your CPU chances are you're going to have to replace your mobo as well. Might as well go for a whole new system from scratch, but you can keep your RAM probably

Oooh right, well. Oh I know I'll have to replace psu. Um, so what if I take out everything from this pc and just buy a new chassis? Will that work? Anything I might be missing?

So what'd you recommend I get? This computer I bought from a shop, so it has everything. I was originally gonna buy a new; gpu, cpu, psu. And now I should buy a new motherboard yes? Anything else? Also if I bought those, will it still work is there anything I'm missing?

You need a better psu with a dedicated gpu. Also that apu is good for playing mmo and games upto farcry 3 on mid settings but you will get bottlenecked by apu while using high-end gpu.

if I were you I would buy new these:

CPU
motherboard
GPU
PSU

You can salvage from your old computer:
HDD
DVD/CD drive
RAM
Or you could choose to upgrade any of these parts. Depending on your OS, you might have to buy that too because your current license may not be transferrable to a different motherboard.

that's the spec page I found for your listed motherboard.

This is what your list looks like to me:[PCPartPicker part list](http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/x9kYJx) / [Price breakdown by merchant](http://nz.pcpartpicker.com/p/x9kYJx/by_merchant/)

So,Here it a combo i suggest for the rig you are going if you plan to use that mobo you need athlon it wont be good as fx 6300 and on cpu side it will be similar to what you have now you dont have to use a seperate mobo then, only buy a new 500w psu, graphic card and aftermarket cooler if you have a cheap level chassis. But atleast 750 ti 2GB ddr5 or Sapphire R9 270x if you want to spend some good money not a 175 dollar new chassis

Basically you have a socket fm2 mobo, usable Hdd ,16 Gb ram all you are missing is an fm2 socket type cpu,a gpu and a psu.Your cheap chassis will do if you are not planning to buy a high end gpu.

For a beast setup
AMD
Athlon X4 750k
Sapphire Radeon R9 270X 2GB Dual-X Video Card
Corsair CX 500W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply.

Athlon is enough cpu for R9 290x without bottlenecking any performance and it will go along with your mobo
Also you need new power supply dont exlude it is necessary. If you are planning to spend more than this than you have to use a different mobo.
The athlon is quarcore.

ok watch this carefully while i do that https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qIT9uLDjZcg.
He is using the cpu i am talking about.it is the only quardcore cpu that you can use and highest fm2 mobo type cpu which is not an apu that in say does not has integrated graphics enabled.
