Hi guys,

I'm going to be purchasing a custom PC very soon and was wondering if these specs would work well together (I've read about cpu bottlenecking gpu and vice versa, sorry, this is my first time getting a custom build so i'm quite new to this :( )

Specs-
Motherboard - ASUS Z97-A ATX
CPU - i7 4790K
GPU - GTX 780
Memory - 16GB
Storage - 250GB SSD + 2TB HDD
Power supply - Corsair 750W
Cooling - CM Hyper 212 EVO
Display - Dual monitor at 1080p, 60Hz

I will mostly be using the PC to program/code, Photo editing and most likely gaming as well (Gaming on one monitor only). I'm looking to build a very good desktop so it will last me years.

Thanks :)

Definitely get the 970. Less power consumption, it's cheaper, has more VRAM, and runs cooler which means longer life. Don't get a Corsair PSU. Not unless you want to get the ax760. But that PSU comes at a pretty penny.. I suggest the 750W G2
