Well, have you tried buying a new BIOS battery? you can get them any electronics store, they're called CMOS batteries.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nonvolatile_BIOS_memory

They do go bad from time to time, and are a common cause of computer issues.

Are you using any kind of Overclock?

If so, run stock.

If you are running stock already, consider lowering the voltage and underclock. Your CPU's day maybe numbered

Onto the ripjaw problem. Test each ripjaw ram individually with memtest 64 overnight.

Extended time with 96C will certainly cause bsods. Are you using small ffts on prime? are you using large fft? Blended? Please specify.

So possible explanations:

1. You are overclocking too much.
2. Your H60 is betting old and the pump probably is going bad.
3. One of your memory stick is going bad. Also check if your dimms are in the correct locations. Looking at the mobo, if there is four spaces for RAM, when you put two sticks in, are there a space between the dimms, or are you putting them together with no space between them?

would that affect the one and off? all the time?

My opinion is that you should get a spare cooler. Get a cheap 212 EVO for 30 bucks and see what happens.
H60 (4 year old) is the prime suspect.

212 evo is pretty big and doesn't fit in alot of cases though.

oh and i love the look on the NH C14 also they do a bigger one. but i can get a h100 for around £65 what i might do is reseat the h60 with less paste.

any idea what the one and off means? looks like something is shorting it but check case.

i forgot to mention my psu sounds like an old dial up modem sometimes

on and off usually means unstable overclock. Have your mobo a mem ok button? If so, try press that.
Definitely use less tim. Supposedly it is only supposed be one pea size and you don't spread it over yourself. Your cooler should do that.
Ah good memories of dial up modem...
I think your bit phenom prodigy fits nh d14/15 much less 212 evo. Get that evo a try. This is according to pc partpickers.
Of course, since psu sounds like that, maybe there isn't enough power? The 800W should have been enough, but GS? Never heard of the line. How old is the PSU? 80 Plus null/bronze/silver/gold?

I would advice to set your BIOS to Silent. and Uninstall ASUS Trash software. Don't Overclock.

i do have a men ok button i pushed that once and the computer restarted a few times thern a screen came up saying overclock failed please reset in bios
GS stands for corsair gaming series they are rated 5 stars. its 4 years old http://

saying that i did have to force it in and then put on the plate and bolts to hold it in from the case..

saying that i did have to force it in and then put on the plate and bolts to hold it in from the case..

That was your first mistake.

I'm going to have to second James Mason's idea of changing your CMOS battery.
It's that round silver flat thing near your GPU slot.

Other than that, I want to say that your Mobo is bad.

And change your PSU to one that's supported by the Prodigy. Your current one is too long.

i bought the mobo off ebay from a guy who had really good feed back and was downgrading to a gaming laptop he said everything worked fine in his rig.
