2 GTX 770-OC or 2 Gigabyte 970 (Possible sli)

Im making a new rig and want help deciding between graphics cards. Im stuck between 2- GTX 770s or 2- 970s. The new 970 is only a little more and im willing to pay the extra money to help future proof me a little bit. Another thing is that i would like to have them run off a good quality 750W power supply. will this be enough to power the two monster cards? any help would be much appreciated, im fairly new to the pc gaming world.

What is the frequency and resolution of the display setup you will be using? I love a sweet SLI setup… but depending on your target output, you might want to let that dictate what sort of GPU setup you go with. For e.g. if you are only looking at 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, one of those gtx 970's will play pretty much everything at maxed settings. Down the track you can add the 2nd GPU as games require the extra power & you'll save money for sure :)

Thanks everyone for the help. I think im just going to get the two 970s and sli. I was looking up stuff last night and i think eventually id like to have my setup as 3 4k monitors and a 4k samsung tv up top. i can get a good deal on them from my dad who works for a display company and the two 970s will be able to handle that.
