CPU: AMD A8-7600 3.3GHz Quad-Core
Motherboard: MSI A88X-G43 ATX FM2+
Memory: Avexir Core series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-2133
Power Supply: EVGA 430W ATX12V / EPS12V

I recently got my motherboard RMA'ed (check this thread for my previous issue- http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2294627/motherboard-dead.html) and I installed it today but I still get no post or beeps, even though fans turn on and the RAM lights up.

I was told it could be standoffs/screws causing the problem due to metal/metal interference so I tried out of case motherboard power testing. I put the motherboard on top of the box, installed the CPU and ram and connected the cpu/motherboard connectors but I get exactly the same result. Fan turns on, RAM lights up, but still no post/beep.

I really have no idea what to do now. I got my motherboard RMA'ed but nothing's changed. Do I need to RMA my motherboard yet again? Any help would be greatly, greatly appreciated.

Did you try with one stick of ram trying both 1 at a time and maybe a few different slots ?
If so you could try resetting the cmos by taking out the cmos battery for 10-15 min .
Unplug your psu first !
Its very possible you could have a faulty psu if the above dose not work.
If you manage to test with another psu and still no joy, then its possible your motherboard could be bad still.

yes to try to start the mobo you just need to short the 2 pins that your power switch hooks into with a screw driver. should only take a half a sec or less. make sure you don't touch anything else but those 2 pins! take your time and go in slowly.

I already shorted those two pins and I got the same result as when I had the motherboard in the case: fans turn on, ram lights up, but no post. I tried breadboarding as well but I get no beeps even with the ram not installed. I've heard some motherboards don't beep.

I'm going to try resetting the BIOS next and if that doesn't work I'll try the PSU.

The manual doesn't mention beep codes.

According to the manual its "MSI Click BIOS 4," which the MSI website says is a UEFI BIOS.

Wow, so if it's not Bios 3.3 then it's not compatible with my CPU? Just my luck. This first build is become more of a nightmare each day.

How do I figure out which Bios version I have?

It still supports it but the mobo HAS to have that version on it now, to support this CPU, before it'll work.

If it doesnt have 3.3 of the BIOS on it now, you've got 2 options.

Take it back ask the shop if they can flash it with a lower spec CPU that the current BIOS supports, flash it, then put yours back in.

Or you'll have to buy another lower spec CPU flash it then this put this one back in.

I have no idea how you can tell what BIOS is on it now. It MAY or MAY not say on the mobo by the BIOS chip

When I first installed in the case I had the internal speaker connected (no beeps); afterward I tried breadboarding with the motherboard and power supply out of the case, using a system speaker (still no beeps).

EDIT:
I made a mistake. I thought the "HDAUDIO" connecter was the internal speaker but after some research it looks like it's actually a connector that says "SPEAKER." In that case I didn't get that connecter with either my MB or case. For breadboarding I used an external system speaker.

Should I order a $2.00 system speaker and try again? Or is this all moot since I supposedly have a BIOS/CPU compatibility issue?

I bought this on Newegg.com. So I have to contact MSI, return the motherboard and ask for a motherboard with 3.3 Bios on it?

Well either that (somehow I dont think any mobo will have the latest BIOS on it).

And I have no idea if Newegg will do it anyway.

Or take it to a local PC shop, ask if they can flash it. Or you'll have to spend money on another CPU that the current BIOS on this mobo supports. Flash the BIOS then put this newer CPU in

Or if you've got mates with a lower spec FM2+ CPU borrow it then flash this (just as long as the BIOS supports it) that'll work

Sorry but I'm a little confused about flashing. How much will a PC Shop usually charge to flash it? I don't have any friends who can help me on this, and I don't have any money left over to buy another CPU... Do I try returning my CPU and getting a new one? But even then I won't know if it'll work on this BIOS, since I don't even know which BIOS version I have.
