I'm hopefully looking for cheaper, but I'm still clutching onto the GTX 970 and I wonder if i can make anything else cheaper. I was going to get hexacore, but then I also want cheaper so I got quad core for some intense gaming and moderate video editting.
Can anything else be made cheaper but with enough quality?

What cpu did you buy exactly? You could choose a decent case for around $50-$70 and save some cash from that.

I've got it. $1218 is fine, monitor included. I'll get an SSD as I go. Thanks for the help!
