I am looking into buying a new PC this holiday season (Christmas) and I was wondering what is the best PC I can build that can Max Out LoL. I would preferable prefer (lol) if the game never drops below 120 fps at 1080p. I play LoL competitively, so I have a 120 hertz monitor (Just incase you were wondering "why 120?".) I am tired of playing LoL on my old pc and getting ~45 fps on medium. Brand does not matter, but I would prefer AMD as it is cheaper in terms of cpu. The gpu can be whatever. I would also prefer 8 gb of ram just for that extra cushion.

I do have a os: (windows 8)
I do have a monitor, keyboard, mouse
I sorta have a psu. It's 300 watts. I don't know if that will be enough though...
I do live near a microcenter

Thanks Guys!

You won't notice much of a difference with a monitor that has higher than a 60 fps refresh rate on lol. But if you go from 45 fps to 60 you can notice a difference. With my 60hz monitor, I can get 60 fps on maxed out settings, but I have yet to try it with a higher refresh rate. My build is on my profile.

It's not really a big difference, but when you play in diamond III, that .01 faster refresh can really help. And, I'm new, I am having trouble finding your build. How much did it cost?

Dia III? Nice!!!! I would recommend an i5 4670 or 4690 along with a Radeon R9 260 or 270 for some pretty good graphics. Then again, I have a 60 hz 22" vizio tv i believe, so I don't really know how far that would get you. But I can run Just Cause 2 on High on 60 fps as well, so it may push up, but I can't be too certain unless I get a monitor like that for myself.

My build is on here if that's easier. http://pcpartpicker.com/b/PTnnTW

Yea, only took 4 years and over 3000 ranked games... #NoLife
Ouch, a 4670 is a bit over kill for LoL? Would a FX-6300 get good frames on LoL? And a r9 270 seems like it will work

Well, I don't just use it for lol you know. And I haven't used AMD Cpus, I trust Intel better, plus their processors are more powerful, in case you wanted to start editing or playing super cpu intensive games

I know, I was referring to my situation, as a intel i5 would be a waste of money for me. I don't know I might invest the extra cash.
