Is it compatible?

Solution
It will work (it's on the supported CPU list on the MSI site).

But 2.2 of the BIOS needs to be on the motherboard when you buy it. To support that CPU

So if you do decide to get it, I would ask / email whoever you buy it from to update the BIOS first before they send it.

I think you should change other parts too. Like get the GTX970, and the MB too, don't get the MSI 970A-G46 with fx8 series cpu, here is more info. http://www.tomshardware.com/forum/330572-30-970a-warning If you are luck you may run the fx8350 on that MB, but I don't how long you can run it without the overheat problem. The gtx970 is better than the gtx780.

Add: do you have the aftermarket cpu cooler? because fx8350 will run very hot, also you may consider the fx8320.
