I own a Gigabyte GTX 650 which has Elpida RAM and has vbios version F51. The Elpida RAM has a part number of EDW2032BBBG-60-F which means it is rated for 6.0 Gb/s but when I tried to overclock it from stock 5.0 Gb/s, it will only be stable to 5.7 Gb/s.
Is this due to Gigabyte putting only 1.35V in the vbios?
Gigabyte also released a GTX 650 vbios for Samsung GDDR5 chips.
Will I brick my video card if I flash the Gigabyte GTX 650 Samsung GDDR5 vbios to my Gigabyte GTX 650 Elpida GDDR5 to attain a higher memory voltage?

I have a 80+ bronze 650W power supply.

Thanks

I took the plunge and cross flashed it but the display ended up showing 256 colours so I have to reflash back the original Elpida vBios.
