I've recently ordered r7 250 1gb ddr5 from flipkart.
and i have 4gb ram but it shows 3.5 gb.(is there a significant dif. b/w 4gb and 3.5 gb)
so should i upgrade to 64 bit .
will 64 bit improve performance of the gpu listed above??????

Solution
Well thats kind of worrying as to what you are seeing. I wouldn't be so sure.

You should get a program called "CPU-Z" and install it. It will telll you what CPU you have, and based on that we can tell you if your CPU is compatible or not.
Switching will let your computer see 4GB of RAM and let you upgrade to more RAM later, and run 64-bit programs.

While the drivers used for the 64-bit OS might be better and improve performance, the result will be negligible. likely no more than 2% if anything at all.

What CPU do you have? You need to be sure your CPU supports 64-bit OS.

Windows 7 64-bit runs perfectly fine with only 4GB of RAM. More performance can be had by upgrading RAM, but its not needed if he is on a tight budget. Not to mention Windows 7 is pretty smart, it limits how much RAM it will use for the OS itself, so that most of the RAM space is free for programs.

Yes that is 64-bit compatible. Upgrading will help things a little as it will free more RAM but you will not notice a significant increase in gaming performance. If you are wanting to increase performance in games you could try to overclock your grpahics card, that would help more.
