No POST new pc?

Alright my new pc will turn on, and it will make it to the BIOS screen, and i can enter BIOS. However it will not POST when i turn it on. I bought a new speaker to make sure it wasn't broken, and no matter which way i plug it in it will not POST. Can i get help please!

This mobo needs BIOS 10.4, before it'll support this CPU. So this maybe your prob if you think you've connected everything properly

The version of the BIOS, thats on the mobo now, isnt 10.4.

And did you buy this as a system or did you build it? If you put it together, I would make sure the CPU and ATX connections are in the headers

Odd that you can get into the BIOS tho.

I made this build myself the other day, the CPU and ATX connections are indefinitely in the headers, as it would not power on if they weren't. I'm really not sure why it won't POST. Everything works fine and i could probably install windows, but i'm worried as it won't POST as its important for knowing everything is alright.

I would take it out of the case and see if it boots. If it does something maybe shorting

Is it possible for something shorting to stop the POST from beeping? I mean it boots perfectly?

Anything is possible. Or if theres ram in it try 1 stick at a time

ok i have tested starting WITHOUT RAM, and the results from doing so was the Speaker beeping 3 times (most likely indicating that RAM is missing). Then i put it back in and yet again there is no beep. Could this possibly mean my BIOS does not beep when everything is fine?

OK I researched and MSI board as of 2012 DO NOT make any beeps on POST if eveything is fine.

It was always working. The POST on all MSI motherboards makes the speaker NOT beep if everything is working. So yes, thanks for the comment which gave me the idea! So all along i was worrying over nothing xD
