I want to get a new monitor but im really having trouble deciding which way to go. I currently have a 60hz 2ms Asus TN monitor, and while i love the low response time, the picture is kind of bleh. This is why i have been looking at IPS panels. The problem is im worried about the input lag for when I occasionally play some CS:GO or LoL. So what would be the more noticable option? A 144hz TN monitor or a 60hz IPS monitor? And yes I have the horsepower for a 144hz setup (hopefully getting a 980 soon :D  ) Thanks!

144hz all the way... but with nvidia you wanna find some with g-sync... because nvidia don't adopt the free sync...

G sync is pretty expensive, is it really worth the price premium they put on it? Also I heard it's going to be kind of pointless considering free sync is hardware-less. If it's worth it I would mind paying the extra though!
