I have a crazy thing going on. When I am playing Plants vs Zombies: Garden Warfare in Garden Ops mode I will constantly disconnect after a amount of time (usually 5-10 minutes). But I noticed when I have my other computer on at the same time, I don't disconnect at all. Now the other computer is my file server/downloader and has utorrent running & seeding when it is on.

From what I understand in Garden Warfare, the Garden Ops mode is run on P2P while the rest of the multiplayer modes use dedicated servers. (Garden Ops mode is the 4 player coop mode. I just play it solo though, no other players in my private game.)

I saw that sometimes you need to forward ports and I did all of that.

So best I can figure is I am timing out of my P2P connection for some reason. But when the other computer is seeding with utorrent I don't time out. But it still doesn't make sense to me.

I have both computers hardwired to a Asus RT-N66U router. My torrents never have trouble (that I can tell) nor does any other games... but I don't really play many games.

Can anyone out there lend me a hand? Thanks for your time!

Well I think I figured it out. I found the UDP timeout settings buried deep in the menus. (Under 'Tools'-->'Other Settings' on RT-N66U if yer wondering.) It was set at 180. I changed it to 1800 and all seems well. Blah. Maybe this will help someone in the future.
