Can I swap fan blades from 140mm NZXT fans

Just got a NZXT LED 140mm fan to replace my non LED NZXT fan. Anyone know if the blade can be pulled out without damage?

Fan is quite a bit louder than my stock fan so I wouldn't mind changing blades over as we never over heat our system anyway. Is it possible?

The blades aren't what makes the noise....the bearings inside the fan "motor" usually causes the noise. Often, the less expensive fans use plastic bearings and they are as tightly fitted as the higher quality fans - so moving the blades over you will still have the problem....
