so I was playing world of Warcraft and my computer randomly turned off and so as anyone else would do, I turned It back on yet the computer runs fine the LED lights are on and the monitor button on the side of my screen just flashes orange and I don't know what to do? I have a xfx Radeon 7950, 8gb ram, 650w psu and I can't remember the name of my CPU. My gpu has only one fan working and goes a bit high in temperature but only at about 70 - 90 degrees whilst playing a game. I can't access my computer due to nothing displaying. My parents are mad at me for breaking it and won't replace it. I have over 150 games on steam. And now I can't do anything... Somebody please help?

The first problem is your monitor try to connect your PC into other monitor or into your TV if there's any ports to connect with then if your TV reads your PC then you have to replace your monitor or check the warranty. The second problem is your GPU also XFX GPU's are known for lifetime warranty support so better check there support web page. Avoid using your PC for now its better if you'll bring your PC to a repair shop, there can they tell what is the main problem, don't leave your PC there.

Sounds like a classic overheating issue. Is that 90 degrees C? If so... well, it's going to be fried.

Thanks for replying to my thread. Would a PC repair shop take my pc in for a repair even if it is custom built? I had my neighbours come round and he built it for me.

Of course ! They could repair your monitor if you want but not the GPU, let the XFX fix it. Just be careful on picking the person to fix your PC they can copy your files even it was deleted from your hard drive.

Ah ok. I don't understand how if my whole computer restarted it would be a fault with my monitor though

So I plugged another monitor in and it displays the screen with weird pixxelated green bits all over the screen and it's not detecting my AMD drivers. Should I update them again since I'm plugging it into a new monitor or is my GPU buggered.

Does your motherboard/cpu have a integrated gpu? Look at the rear i/o for that. With this you can check whether it's the gpu at fault.

I do have a integrated GPU but however my GPU fans are still running? Whenever I try and install my drivers the program says "not responding" after I click on continue for the install thing

Take the 7950 out when trying with the integrated gpu.No real need to install drivers for a first look,it will work on the integrated drivers from windows.
