I'm curious to any Define r4 owners out there, how well does the sound foam really work? I was planning on picking up a nzxt s340, but the define r4 window is 80$ right now. If the sound dampening is great, then I'll pick it up, if not, I'll go for the s340.

It's pretty good - I have one with a WD Caviar Black 1TB and in a very quiet room with the case about 30cm from my head, I cannot hear said disk unless it's "thrashing" (from memory, WD say that should be about 33dB), and then it's only just audible.

Good to know, I might pick it up. I want a quiet pc build, so, it's an option. Thanks.

No worries - I've been surprised (in a good way) by how quiet it is. The built-in fan controller's quite a neat addition - the fans are obviously audible (but not annoying) at the 12V setting, quiet at the 7V setting, and inaudible at the 5V setting. I've got mine set on 7V (I noticed the HDD temperture crept up 2C when I used the 5V setting, but there's no difference when using the 7V or 12V settings), and I almost can't hear them - the TV on in the other room or birds in the garden will drown them out.
