Hi I'm trying to squeeze more performance out of my e6550 2.33mhz cpu it is on a ms-7360 motherboard. I've tried to just buy a better cpu for it but as they are'nt available anywhere in my country anymore I thought maybe just a safe overclock for a decent performance gain (not expecting anything huge) could be the way forward. Msi dual core center seems to have some issues I thought maybe that would be the easiest way to do it I have tried changing some things in bios but have had some strange results and am scared of frying my machine before i can afford a new one ;-) all fans are stock except for one i added myself in the case which just expels excess hot air out the back to help with cooling the tower. I have 4 gb ram recognised as 3 as I am on xp (it's a legacy machine lol) my bios version is american megatrends inc. v1.3. 2007/08/09 please if anyone can help a noob play some newer games on an old machine with a bit more performance I would really appreciate it :)
