That would be my budget gaming PC. I would like to upgrade to i5 4690 in 3 months, but this will do now. Is this more powerful than PS4 or even equal? I I also have a Hyper 212 cooler, so overclocking happens. I can't spend more at the moment. Give me some gaming resolutions and settings. I am planning to play Skyrim, BF4, Titanfall, some MMOs, indie games and LoL. I am NOT expecting to play anything at ultra. If I would get high 900p 60fps on bf4, I would be more than happy. Medium would do fine too :p

Don't be mean people. This is my first ever gaming PC.

for BF4 at 900p high settings would give a playable fps for now
could not say 60 but maybe 35-40 FPS
cause your processor will currently bottleneck the r9 280

Bit of a CPU bottleneck, I would try and spend less on a graphics card and more on the CPU, maybe an R9 270 and a I3 or AMD FX6300.

the RAM is low quality . CAS 10 is worse than CAS 9
Better RAM is available for less .

Sure , run with the pentium for now . In many games it wont be much ofa bottleneck at all if you can get a good OC

Viltsu300, you don't need 1600Mhz ram they provide 0 performance boost in game. go with the CL9

Yeah i know that pentium is old and slow CPU
but its not that much that he would get unplayable fps
and he said that he was upgrading in 3 months so for now its good

The pentium OCed to 4.5 HGz was trading blows with a Haswell refresh i3 at 3.5 Ghz , so its not a terrible short term solution
