That is a fine damn setup. You should be able to play majority of games on max setting. However, please look into the EVGA GPU issue with their heatsinks. I was turned away from them and decided to go with another company (that and they were sold out as well). I saw a picture and one of the pipes did not even touch the GPU chip. I don't know if that is an issue or not. I am getting my MSI GTX 970 in today.

Definitely get a SSD. That will boost boot time dramatically. I have an old SSD in mine and I have a 10 second boot time from the time I hit the power button to when I get on to my desktop.
