Im pretty confused, i've thought that my ram is 800MHz but my numbers in cpuz tell me its 400MHz? Also, i want to switch memory to the one that has 667MHz, so would that be a good idea?

Solution
DDR2-800 memory has a frequency of 400 MHz and a transfer rate of 800 MT/s.
This is often misquoted as 800 MHz.
Even the RAM manufacturers do this in the marketing material sometimes.

If the other memory you are looking at is DDR2-667, this is slower than your current memory.
