Need help/advice on new build (Ram & Mobo)

Hey guys looking to upgrade my pc as my current pc is getting old and my os drive is on its way out the door, and i have been looking to upgrade so now feels like a good time
I will be keeping my current gpu 660ti so i wont be looking for a new gpu just yet

But i need help selecting a Mobo and ram (I'm not very knowledgeable with motherboards and ram )

I really like what you have suggested and will most likely go with it!

I have read that the i5-4690k will need a bios update to work with an 8 series board will i still need an update considering that the asus board is a 9 series board?
