So I got this Sapphire Radeon R7 250 2GB DDR3 with boost and I downloaded it's latest driver from AMD.com , I was just wondering if this is correct because it is malfunctioning (weird graphical glitches in game, random weird lines of color suddenly appearing, etc.. )

If not, do I download the latest drivers from Sapphiretech.com? Because the website looks very old and I don't think that those are the latest drivers for my hardware.

Thanks in advance!

Solution

If you had any other card in that computer try this:

First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.
http://www.wagnardmobile.com/DDU/
Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And...

It is unlikely to be drivers.
Cable is the first thing to check, especially if you are using any adapters or the cable is longer than 3 meters.
It could also be the monitor or the graphics card.
The best way to rule these things out is to test with another cable/monitor/computer.

Okay

1. Cable
- VGA
- From 1 meter (old cable) to 3 meters (just bought today because I also thought that the cable was the problem)
- Cable replacement didn't change anything

2. Monitor
- ANBONN 19" LCD Monitor probably 5 years old
- Buttons are stuck, only working button is the on switch
- Sucks ass
- I will try another monitor, 1 sec

3. Computer
- New
- No problems except this.
- No other tower desktop in this house to test the card with

3. I don't mean to test the card in another PC, I mean to test the cable and monitor with another PC. This could be a laptop or anything.

Hi Sir,I am Bharath from India.I think I can help you Out here.I had the same problem with my Geforce 210 and I did this and everything started to work Perfect

I highly recommend you totally Remove the Drivers of this GPU

NOTE-Your GPU must be connected.

1) Download Driver Booster Free from iObit and Install them (You can make it PRO by learning in Youtube)

2) At first Open,It will automatically scan for Outdated Drivers

3) After Searching,It will show the Results and All you have to do is tap 'Update',Sit back and Enjoy some Coffee !

4) When you click 'Update',It will calculate the Size of those drivers,Download it all in One (As an Order)

5) Most Important thing - It also creates a System Restore Point before installing any Driver.

6) After every driver is installed,It MAY ask you to Re-start or Reboot your PC.Even though it dosn't ask to Restart your PC,I highly recommend you to Restart your PC

What it basically does is find Missing,Damaged and Out-dated drivers in the Internet Automatically and install it without any Hassle and by itself. It actually will mod some Coding inside those Driver Files.

This Brilliant Software can almost find any driver that is Missing or Outdated Drivers. So,You never need to open your Browser to download a Driver and Install them.

After all these,It must work Perfectly Fine. Please let me know the result (If it fixes your problem)

If My solution fixes your Problem,Please don't forget to make mine as your Best Answer.

Thank you

He has downloaded the latest drivers from the official website. Old drivers maybe conflicting with the later one. So driver booster from Iobit is not needed.

and the driver is still crashing

:(

Try without safe mode:

First of all you need to TOTALLY remove all the old drivers. Use this link.

Note:
Select the respective company(i.e Nvidia or ATI) drivers to be uninstalled.
Use clean and restart option.
And then install the new drivers after rebooting.

Don't check in device manager just install after the reboot.

UPDATE:

I have installed the drivers
I have requested to get another monitor
5 minutes into the installation and I have not seen any discrepancies... yet
The screen still has a black bar of darkness and the taskbar is still cut in half but when i change the resolution, it goes back to normal but the resolution is too high for the monitor making it look blurred

UPDATE 2:
I have opened my monitor to fix this button issue and fixed it, the black bar of darkness is now gone
Still no sign of glitches (in the matrix) will update if it occurs
It's a miracle! No driver crash for over 30 minutes! I'm starting to think that the problem is fixed..
