Hi all i have just changed motherboard, processor and RAM. My main issue is that i cant power the motherboard. I have a power unit with 750w and the power supply is an 8 pin connector. The new mobo hás only 4 pins. I have tried using a P4 cable and using the standard 8 pin connector to no avail. No power comes to the motherboard. I have power elsewhere(gpu) but nothing on the Mobo.
I have an alienware XPS machine and upgraded the mobo
