CPU Overlocking Temperatures

My build uses a i5-4690K. I am currently running Prime95 on temperature torture and the temps are at tops 74°C.. Would this be safe to OC? It's not safe to go to higher temps, right? Or is 75°C just for gaming/editing? What temps should I go for max while in Prime95?

Yes, but only for a 1 or 2 hr. stress test. No more!

Max for Prime95 is 90*C. but do not use a version later than 26.6. The later versions will put unrealistic strain on the CPU.

74*C. is very good.

Oh, I was using version 28.5.. Does that mean my temps are extra very good? :D

What settings? I ran it, told it to run torture test with focus on first 15min memory (since I was suspicious of the quality) then 20min CPU & temps.

The setting that stresses the CPU the most is "Small FFTs"

I used that one! Does that mean I can OC to prime temps as high as 85C, 90C?
