So I know last post i was gonna build a PC for $650, but the store went out of stock on a couple of the parts.. so I plan on just keeping my current computer... right now im running a EVGA 500B with a FX-8320 at 4.1Ghz (stock volts) and a R9 270X Msi gaming edition (2gb stock clocks/volts)

theres someone on craigslist who has 680's on sale for $180.. I was wondering if this PSU would be good enough or not as long as i stay at stock clocks.. I have a 970 Chipset asus mobo, 1 7200RPM WD Blue drive, and 4 120MM fans.. I believe it has something like 40-42Amps on the 12v.. I have a max of maybe 55-75$ for a PSU if needed.

More about : psu wattage amperage needed

55-75 dollars isnt a good budget for a quality PSU. You would want to spend around 100 as the PSU is one of the most important parts of the build. It should be ok but if you want to upgrade get a tier one or tier two a psu from herehttp://www.tomshardware.co.uk/answers/id-1804779/power-...

I would have more but the money im getting for the 680 is coming from me selling the 270x alone.
