Whats the best deal, only in terms of performance.
I dont realy know if i should trust on U cpus.
Thank you as always.

The U stands for ultra-low power and...

"4. Fourth-generation Core processors are intended to increase overall notebook or ultrabook battery life and improve overall performance. Although combining a fourth-generation Core processor with a Series 8 motherboard chipset will let system manufacturers build even thinner and lighter laptops, placing one of the newer power-efficient processors and new chipset in an existing chassis with the same battery pack will lead to much longer battery life. For example, Intel claims a 3-hour improvement (6.0 to 9.1 hours) on an ultrabook HD video playback battery life test when that system's third-generation Core i7 chip is replaced with a fourth-generation Core i7."

But you do NOT lose performance.

But, for example, i3U dont get the same score in reviews and benchmarks as i3M previous generation.
Thats why im wondering if i5u could be at the same level as i3m

Did you even look at the performance comparison I posted for you?

Sorry, didnt read the "copy paste" part, and didnt see the comparison clicking on it xd.
So I5 is better then.
I3 U is a viable CPU?

Overall the performance should be relatively close to each other. The i3-3110m has a CPU speed of 2.4GHz. The i5-4200u has a base CPU speed of 1.6GHz, but Turbo Boost can increase the clock speed to 2.6GHz (one core used) or 2.4GHz (both core used). The average increase in performance between Ivy Bridge (the i3) and Haswell (the i5)generation CPUs is roughly 5% on average.

The "U" stands for ultra low voltage so that i5 should last longer than the i3 when running on battery.

The biggest performance increase would be the i5's Intel HD 4400 graphics core vs. the i3 Intel HD 4000 graphics core. The performance increase should be around 20% - 25% on average. So if intend on playing games, then the Core i5 is the way to go. However, keep in mind that the Intel HD 4400 is still a weak graphics core so you will only be able to use low / medium graphic quality settings in most games.

In short, the processing power should be roughly equivalent to each other with the i5 offering marginally better performance overall. The i5's low voltage should mean battery life is better. Of course if the laptop with the i5 has a smaller battery compared to the laptop with the i3, then you may get the same battery life performance with both CPUs, or the i5 laptop might have less battery life. In terms of graphics performance, the i5 is better.

Because the i5 U is a ultra low power/voltage, it won't heat as much as the others, and it extends the lifespan of the processor and save some energy power (if you mind). At low CPU frequency, it won't require so much energy, and it is easier to the laptop cooler keep it cool, and even if you need more speed, the Turbo Boost is activated along with the power consumption. But still, this new generation uses a lot less energy power.
Compared to the i3M, since it doesn't have a Turbo Boost, it is constantly "ready" to use the maximum core frequency, so it is not possible to low that much the power it uses.

Keep in mind that the laptop with the i5-4200U will also get a lot better battery life, given that the batteries are the same size. It has less than half the TDP.
