Dear community,

Honestly, I'm going crazy and I'm about to throw this PC out of the window. Here's the problem I'm facing:

Basically, I bought a new video card which I inserted. (So I didnt remove the old one, so I can set up dual monitors)

Without the video card the PC is working fine. But when I put the videocard and put the PC on, it gives me 1 long beep and 2 short beeps continuously. There is no display on the screens.

Some facts:

- It cannot be my power supply, because I also bought a new power supply
- The video card I bought is a Sapphire Radeon R7 250
- Brand: MP
- Running on Windows 8
- i3-3220 CPU @ 3.3 GHz

Can anyone please help me out?

"Intel HD graphics it says in devices."

That's not an add-on graphics card, it's the motherboard's integrated (on-board) graphics chip.

You can't have that and your Radeon card both active at the same time unless your BIOS supports using both.

You need to go into BIOS Setup and disable the motherboard's integrated graphics chip or make sure "PCI Express" is set as the graphics card location instead of "on-board" (it depends on the layout of your BIOS options).

Your Radeon card should then work, and if it doesn't support two monitors you'll have to swap it out with one that does.

I already did, because the PC is working fine with the onboard videocard.
