Anybody having problems with Internet Explorer?

My IE is freezing and it looks like mouse pointer keep thinking- little circle continuously rotating and it moving across the screen slowly and purposeless. It would give error, "IE stopped responding" and it would keep hanging. I can not open task manager- if I try- it also says, "Not responding" and I have to restart computer. It also often says, "IE recovered a page" and it looks like the page refreshes.

I thought it related to Facebook. Usually it happens when Facebook is open and I have many windows open as well. But I have 16 Gb of memory- there is no reason for it.

Please, do not post "switch to Chrome" advice. The question is regarding IE. Thank you.

Not the latest as of 2 days old, but I install them soon as I see the updates. I have 2 antiviruses that constantly scan computer- Norton and Webroot.

The other day IE ran in to some problem on the page that would freeze it, and after I restart computer, I would use "Restore last session" to have all the pages back and it would crash the same way again. I had to restart 5 times, and it would crash 5 times, till I did not use "Restore last session" any more. But it happens often- it would say "EI recovered a tab" every few hours.

Thank you for your reply. I have this combination of Antiviruses for years- back from Vista on more than one computer. I do not see them conflicting. They doing different things at different times.

Java is updating itself regularly. Flash is tricky with IE now days- it does not have to be installed on desktop version. I had some issues with video playback. My videos turn green often- feels like some plugin fails- I would think it must be Flash. When I start computer fresh, most videos work, but if I use Facebook, and now everybody posts these stupid videos in every post that start play by itself- sometime it works fine, but often it would turn green. I posted about it on Microsoft site, but I do not remember what they said it was.

Yeah- here is what it says on Adobe site:Flash Player is integrated with Internet Explorer in Windows 8.
You do not need to install Flash Player.

It passes the flash test now. What Facebook runs on? Is it some kind of Active X? (Filtering disabled). Thank you.
