Is the Z97X-Gaming-7 motherboard compatible with the Corsair 300r case?

I am having problems lining up the holes when trying to align the motherboard so I can put the standoffs on. I wonder if they are even compatible...

You do mean that you are having a hard time lining up the motherboard so that you can put screws in, right? The case comes with molded stands for the motherboard, there are no separate stand offs included or needed with it.

You may want to remove the rear exhaust fan to make it easier to put the motherboard in, however.
