Would something like this " http://www.ebay.com/itm/3-Way-Port-HDMI-Audio-Video-Selector-Switcher-Switch-Box-DVD-PS4-Xbox-One-to-TV-/281359153831?pt=US_Audio_Cables_Adapters&hash=item41824ffaa7 " work if I hook it up to my monitor and my Ps4 and pc get connected to it. Will the audio work as if it was a regular hdmi going through a tv or would I need to find a way to connect audio cables to my monitor?

I know the computer using DVI to HDMI won't get sound, but I will connect the PS4 at one of the input connections and I'm wondering mainly if the Ps4 will get sound just using the hdmi.

EDIT: This is how my setup will be. On the switch box where it says output I will connect my monitor using a DVI to HDMI. On input 1 I will use another DVI to HDMI to connect my pc from my graphics card to the box. 2nd input will be the ps4 which will straight use a HDMI cord from the ps4 to the box.

So will the ps4 receive audio since it's using no converter and just a regular hdmi or will I have to find a way to get sound to the monitor?

If your connection to the monitor is over DVI, you will not get sound. DVI is video only. HDMI carries both video and audio.

If your monitor does not have HDMI input, you will need a separate cable to carry the audio from your PS4 and computer to the monitor (with its own separate switching box). There are devices which can extract the audio from HDMI, but they are almost as expensive as a new monitor ($75-$150). HDMI encodes the audio as a digital signal, so such a device needs to convert that signal back into analog to work with composite or 3.5mm audio connectors.
