I have the GTX 970 Zotac AMP! Extreme and comparing my own card to benchmarks, it is cooled much better than MSI's or Asus's.
Never breaks 60c while gaming 100% while over-clocking. Best 970 is Zotac's AMP! Extreme in my opinion. Here is a Linus Tech Tips video about it:

I heard reviews that this card is crap and goes to 90degrees celsius. Would you recommend this card?
90 degrees celsius? WTF?
I played far cry 3 on DSR 4k for like 8 hours ( Far cry is is like 100% GPU usage the whole time ) and it never broke 60C with fans cranked up. There were some issues with getting firestorm overclocking to work, but the guy who worked for Zotac told me to run Firestorm as admin.
The only other downside to this card I can think of is that you have to use firestom to adjust voltages because the OC+ module on the card is what regulates voltages. This isn't DRM like you've been hearing, it actually increeses sensor accuracy and comes with better over-volt controls too. But if you're a die hard fan of MSI Afterburner ( and I was, but firestorm isn't that bad...) then you better go with another 970 manufacturer if you're planning to do a ton of overclocking and you loath Firestorm.
