Probably not worth upgrading...

1) CPU to something at least a bit decent, like a Core 2 Duo E7500.
2) GPU to a GTX 750 Ti.
3) 1 extra DDR2 DIMM. 1GB.

But it's not over worth it. It's getting old, so you may be interested in getting a new one. But the mentioned upgrade would cost less than ~$200.

new the upgraded cpu goes for $110 but here is a link for used/refurbished? http://www.amazon.com/gp/offer-listing/B001OVBXIC/ref=d...

would u suggest i go new or try my luck refurbed? also if i upgrade the cpu will the stock fan/heatsink suffice for cooling purposes? or will i have to upgrade that?

and that graphics cards like avg. $170sh from what ive seen! crazy. ill start with ram.

thankyou!! my machine currently is configured for 1x2gb ram and 1x1gb ram for a total of 3/4gb total. so being theres only 2 slots id have to get 1x2gb? and use the other 1x2gb ram and just save the other 1x1gb ram?
also will I have to add any additional cooling to my pc with the aforementioned upgrades? or can I use the stock cooling system? and pc fans already in the case?

also ill most likely have to use iso alcohol to remove the remnince thermal paste and apply new on the cpu?
