I have a Pentium G3258 and an MSI Z87-G45 motherboard. Can someone tell me the best settings to get to 4.2 GHZ? I currently have it on 4.0 GHZ but I can't seem to get past it. Also I'm pretty unfamiliar with this BIOS.

From 4 to 4.2 try increasing the vCore, (CPU voltage), a little and try again

My BIOS says CPU Core Voltage and CPU Ring Voltage. Which one do I raise. Also, how much should I raise it by?

Okay I was able to get it to 4.2 ghz, but I have the voltage set to 1.4 volts on the cpu core and 1.21 volts on the cpu ring. Are these safe voltages for my pentium g3258? Temperatures are at 67C at load and 30-40 on idle.

Think 1.4 is the highest I'd go, and monitor your temps
